The little seed that became a projet
My ecological consciousness started when I was 16 years old. I realized that we were wasting so much paper in my high school.
Motivated by my Chemistry teacher's advice, I decide to get involved in an ecological change. I started then a paper recycling campaign with my closest classmates and invite all the students to leave their waste paper in the recycling containers.
Thanks to the positive results, I decide to continue my commitment to protecting the environment. Over time I change my habits :
- Reduce my use of plastic bags
- Replace disposable plastic bottle water gourdes with reusable water bottle
- Use of a menstrual cup
And what about the bathroom ? Most traditionnals shampoos, conditionners and styling creams have single use plastic bottles that cannot be recycled and will end up in our oceans...
This is the reason I created Spumella, an adventure that will take me to look for the best, biodegradable and no-frill ingredients for an eco-responsibly solid shampoo.
What is the meaning of Spumella ?
Spumella is inspired from latin spuma that means "foam" or "sea foam". It alludes to the sea and the sea foam wich is light and smooth.
Who is behind Spumella?
Ecologically committed and haven't found the ideal solid shampoo, I'm determine to create my own solid shampoo that stand my requirements and my expectations.
“I wanted to use a shampoo with a simple, clean and safe formula as welll with an ecological packaging. Sometimes I noticed some shampoos with clean formulas but using a disposable plastic bottle or some others in a paper case but using controversial ingredients for the environment and not suitable for sensitive scalp".
I decide to be a part of the change with a natural, zero waste and eco-responsably solid shampoo made in France.
